Hi,
I have been interested in photography from about high school. Sunsets, waterfalls, insects, anything that would stay still long enough to photograph.
Later on in life I did some freelance work to running around taking social photos and a bought some backdrops and studio lighting did some of that work. It was ok and I did do a book cover for Carlotta called “I’m not that kinda girl” but it was really distracting to my creative photography so I up and retired from pro work after a short and lactlustre career.
I now have gone back to shooting real slide film on a Leica M3 and am loving it. It is a much slower process than digital. Taking a light readings for every photo and being quite selective as there are only 36 shots in the roll of film, taking it to a lab to get it developed and then scanning it in shot by shot to my computer.
It suits my style so much better though as I am the kind of person who like to hand grind my own coffee beans then make my coffee on the stove with my 20 yr old Atomic Coffee maker that does the coffee and milk frothing all from the stove.
So anyway thats me in a nutshell, enjoy the shots, they are made with love.
Tony
